BluRay Burner Recommendations

Hello Listers,

I posted this a few days ago in "hardware" but got no reply.

I am Mac-FCP oriented and am curious about what hardware folks are using to burn to BluRay. Is there anything that really stands out of the somewhat limited crowd? Firewire would be best but not a deal breaker.

I bought an external USB Buffalo brand BD burner. Works great with Toast for archiving. I have yet to make a video BD, tho.
 
My understanding is the latest version of FCP will burn BluRay video without Toast. Can you burn data also? Is Toast really needed?

Toast is best value for money you'll ever spend on the Mac..it's not expensive..
works everytime..... and Roxio support is great if ever needed...IMO..
