Blue Angles and RED?

Blue Angels and RED? Come shoot some Blue Angels in SF this weekend. I'd love to see RED shoot some Blue with their 300mm lense during Fleet Week!

What do you say? Take some time off, come up, have some clam chowder and write the weekend off and shoot some Blue Angels with Red and your 300mm lense!

OK - OK -> I've corrected my "Angles" to "Angels"... thanks - LOL...

Oh, that reminds me! After RED is done shooting Blue Angles (is it a geometry fair maybe?), I heard the Blue Angels are also going to be flying this weekend - in the very same city! What are the chances?

OMG:laugh: :-Laugh(DBG)-1 :-Laugh(DBG)-1  LMAO, my chest hurts.
Greg, I am in the same boat, I did not catch it, all I could think of was the story I did covering them a few years back. All I could think of (in images) was how incredible it would have been to shoot with the RED as opposed to betacam.

The frankencam might be conspicuous and unwieldy at best.

Haakon, that killed me:beer:

I got married in San Francisco one year ago - during last years fleetweek, during the ceremony the blue angels made a low pass by the Norwegian Seamans Church and the noise from the aircraft made it impossible to hear a word the reverend was saying for a brief period of time.

We had a great cruise in the bay afterwards, with the angels flying overhead, a memorable experience, I shot som 1080i footage of it.
