Blu Ray and HVX200

Apple may be a blu ray associate, but it is definitely sitting out the battle.

Otherwise, how do you explain red laser dye support for HD DVD for a year, no support for blu ray, and no update at NAB2007 for DVD SP?

There must be a reason, and it isn't for lack of blu ray hardware.

Apple was supposed to be shipping computers with blu ray drives this year. That idea has quickly faded away and so have many rumors associated with it.

Does the ps3 play AVI or something similar?

ps3 plays h.264 quicktime movies. you must wrap them as mp4 but it's really easy and can all be done with quicktime.
