'blotchy' color issues with DVX100b!! Please Help!

I recently bought a DVX100b on ebay and when it arrived it had some weird imaging problems. I've taken it to the Panavision rental place here in Vancouver and they said that it's nothing to do with the scene settings and that there's something wrong and that I should get it sent away to be fixed.

I really want to know if anyone has seen this problem and can help me solve it without sending it across the country to get it fixed!
Please have a look at the stills. There's weird shading on the arm of the girl and the hair and around the still. And the face of the man, specifically the cheek you can see the issue...
Thank you so much for having a look at this! Let me know if you have any ideas.

Tony

It looks like some signals aren't quite getting to where they need to be the way they need to be. That is definitely a strange anomaly. I've never had that happen. In the girl's hair, there is a section that looks like it has been completely desaturated. As for the skin tones getting warped, I have no idea. Perhaps CCD problem?

CCD alignment off? Youll need to send it away. Did the seller mention this problem before purchase? - he/she most likely knew of it. You may be able to make a dispute through ebay to get it rectified. Id talk to the seller first and see what he/she says.
