AC90: Blacks more like rusty red on ac90

I have the Singh-Ray Vari ND, and while it works fine for most video applications using still lenses on a DSLR (only getting slightly soft at the longest focal lengths) it is unusable on the AC90. My telephoto footage shooting outdoor sports from press box of a high school football field was too soft to use.

Here is an IR cut filter, which could be stacked I believe with an ND filter.

Could it be possible to get IR contamination using LED lights on certain fabrics?

Yes, it is possible. LEDs do emit some infrared light, just nowhere near as much as a tungsten lamp.
