Blackmagic URSA : full Fledged Camera

Impressive. Things are getting quite interesting at NAB, wish I was there... The $2000 discount on the Canon 1D - C is not looking so great anymore...

We've been in a holding pattern since the "C" cameras came out, deciding on where to go with a two camera purchase.
I've bought a couple of BM cameras and other cameras, and a bunch of MFT glass and continued to do good business and tell nice stories.

But, I've been waiting for a camera to come along that would deliver the things that I've felt were missing for us on a number of levels.
This camera is the first thing that's got me thinking that my wait is over.
And the price...honestly I thought it was a prank.

no 60p, no internal nd filters.. heavy body…expensive media.

This thing is cool but its just not great…. FS700 is a better choice in my opinion.

4K global shutter sensor... does that mean it's the same (in)sensitivity as the BM4K?

That said, I just freaking give up. Ten thousand new fascinating cameras and not a dollar left after April 15th for me. Grumble.

I think this is a camera that you need to rent before you buy. It has that.... I don't know, untested feel to it. I think it's a great deal. If that 10" monitor was an odyssey 72 I would definitely buy it :)
