FEATURE: blackhats - Another Reel One Entertainment Movie

Well, we're now on iTunes Trailers.

http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/independent/blackhats/

Please be sure to play it from iTunes as it will help raise awareness if we're able to rank in the most popular for a while.

"Battle" ranked in the most popular last time and it really helped generate a lot of distributor buzz that was invaluable in the long run.

Also, if you could. Go to our blog (see below) and hit the Demand it! button for us too.

Thanks,

Martin

Good looking trailer Martay. Sounds good. Nice shots. Good action. Hopefully we will get enough demand for it in Houston.

Wanted to bump these two.

Just watched the 1st Rough Cut...and I'm very excited about it.

Got lots of VFX and even two pick-up shots still to get but it is shaping up very nicely at this point.

Please be sure to watch the trailer on iTunes...a FEW TIMES.

Thanks,

Martin

Shot two pick-up scenes yesterday which will be officially the last footage captured for blackhats...remember the trailer is still available on iTunes so check it out.

Cool. Glad to hear production is over and post is about over! I know how that feels. ;-)

Coming Correct is finally done on our side. Got an unoffical word that the movie is now headed to stores. They changed the name though. They went with "Baby's Mama Club". I'm sure from a marketing perspective they believe this is the best route. I'll let you know when they have a new trailer up.

For the past couple weeks our trailer for "blackhats" has been playing on television in Savannah on the CW affiliate.

This episode it plays at 7min in and my Hip-Hop crew's Video "Demise" also plays at 17:24 so I got a double dip on this weeks show.

Pretty cool

Martay, either you live in Savannah or you have your ear all the way down to the pavement. Either way, I liked the trailer from the first time that I saw it. It's good to see you getting traction.

I haven't kept up as much lately so I'm wondering if you all had screenings in GA, or surrounding states. How did they go? I heard about a screening series down in ATL through producer Brian Poe. I think that the other producer mentioned was Marvin Arrington, Jr. Both are lawyers as well. If you haven't tried the Urban Film Review, look into it. I'd like to know what their events are like also.

We're still in post so no screenings left. I'll check into that screening series.

As for Savannah, my producing partner and I went to high school down in South GA and we've got a lot of support from that region so fans of "Step Off" in that area have kept their eyes glued to our latest efforts.

We're actually having an appearance on a show tonight. I'll post the link later but it's been fun getting more publicity this go round.

I appreciate you checking it out and following it.

Take it easy,

Martin

Couple things.

Several of the cast and myself will be on the Sean Pryme Show Tues 6/4 around 2pm talking about blackhats. You'll be interested in what the cast has to say as many of them will be seen in other work in addition to blackhats. Please tune in: http://www.sensationstationnetwork.com/

Additionall, our composer (from "Step Off" too) has released a very cool remix of a classic tune.

Check it out here: http://soundcloud.com/nova-patrol

And spread the word if you can...thanks,

Martin Kelley
