Black balance on the 7D

Is it possible to black balance on a 7D? Just shot some footage and noticed that I had a blown pixel. the footage isn't priceless and was just for fun but I just want to see if this is something that I can fix or if I need to send it in to canon. Thanks for the help.

No, you can't black balance on a 7D.

Might want to check with the camera dealer you bought from. You could also trying dialing down the blacks iin your editing program. Not the ideal. But give it a go. If it is someone wrong with the camera though I would definitely check it out sooner than later.

if you're talking about a hot pixel / dead pixel, try this:

place the body cap on the camera. Go to M picture mode. Go to menu and look for sensor cleaning. Choose clean manually. Hit ok and wait 30 seconds. Then resume regular use. It will get rid of the dead pixel.
