Yes, a 2003 R1150GS.

Basically. The "GS" is for gelandundstrasse - literally "for terrain and street." So it's an on-road off-road enduro - although 99% of my riding is on pavement; it's also about the best commuter bike you could ask for (only competition is from bikes in the same class; KTM and Ducati make similarly-purposed machines...)

I wouldn't touch that thing! I've seen some of the new backwards trikes out there, two wheels in the front and one in the rear, but that just looks dangerous. The wheels are too close together, and I'd bet it's a nightmare at cornering at any kind of speed.

Plus it'd be impossible to get/maintain a girlfriend.

Two strikes agin' it, for sure.

We had a couple of Polaris trikes (much wider front wheelbase) parked on the lot at Culver for months, that someone was using for something.

Since you can't lane-split with a trike, and since that leaves you with all of the disadvantages of a bike without the most important advantage...who needs it?
