BIG EXPLOSION, FS700 + Odyssey7Q, 240fps Apple ProRes(HQ)

Hey guys, check out this hero shot I did a few days ago for a Discovery Channel documentary.
Shot on FS700 + Odyssey 7Q, 240fps.
We also shot the explosion from a wide angle on an FS7 without the guy in the foreground.
It was pretty intense!

The longer focal length you shot it with does make it look like he was closer to the explosion than he was, and props to your guy for not flinching from the sound of the explosion! Because of those two factors, I was also trying to figure out if it was an FX shot or live. Still, it's a good shot!

The lens flare that bleeds over the actor at about 5 seconds in would have been very difficult to fake convincingly. It appeared quite real to me.
