I shot this mostly at night on a beach with only a small fire I built for lighting. Some scenes were rushed due to the tide being literally at our feet and needing to shoot the entire video in a day! Shot entirely with a Super Takumar 55mm F2.

Please watch all the way through before you critique.

Since I don't understand the language, I'll sort of comment on just some 'visuals' that caught my attention... one is 'white girl belly dancers'... and skinny ones at that... my prurient interest sometimes gets the better of me, but I prefer belly dancers who... well... have a belly...

The music felt 'indian' to me, yet there were a couple of shots with a somewhat 'saudi' look, red checked head covering, white robes.

From the end shot, I took the 'story' to be essentially a 'bad dream', and that the man and woman were really together.

On more technical issues. The shots of the man and woman in the tent were a bit too low for me. Perhaps a 'bigger bonfire was needed'... or just shot closer to 'sundown' such that the remaining glow would fill, and the fire would give it a 'night' look, but not to dark.

On lipsyncing. It seem that for a number of shots the man was 'silent' despite the singing. Other shots clearly the singer was singing (lipsync...), and I think those were ok. I think it would have been better if the fellow was singing on all medium and closeup shots. And only in the 'story' segments, the wasn't a need for the central character to be 'singing'...
