There are a few scammers right now fishing for a bite.

BE WARNED

If someone contacts you offline looking to sell you something, DO NOT do a wire transfer.

Make sure the "SELLER" creates a proper invoice from within Paypals site and sends that to you. Keep all transactions within paypal otherwise you're not protected.

I got an email from a LUIS BRAZ looking to sell his Tokina diopter. He sent two pictures over which I found identical to an actual EBAY ad. He basically just copy/pasted. This guy was insistent on a wire transfer then agreed to PAYPAL but wouldn't create an invoice. He's fishing. But he ain't smart.

Be careful out there!

And if anyone knows of anyone selling the rare Tokina 0.4 Diopter, I'm keen on buying.

I got an inbox messages from 00gear offering a blackmagic camera. 0 posts, 0 feedback. I asked to open a thread and post pics in this forum and never did.

Selling 35mm squarefront .Turns out it is some attachment with zeiss lens ,thats why I said no.

When using Paypal, as long as you don't send your payment as gift, you are good. The gift option is as good as well, a gift. Asking for an invoice is good too, just make sure you know what a real paypal invoice is vs a fake one.
