BEWARE OF QUICKTIME 7.3 with P2 Media

I will have FCP 5.1.4 as I'm just loading up a new to me G4.

I understand the "if its not broken don't fix it" mentality but after reading over this thread it seems people have various levels of success with mixing different updates.

Just trying to get it as solid as I can from the start.

Actually I found both of those with a quick search on Apple site under downloads and quicktime.

If you converted your QT in P2 Log then there is a fix

If you converted your QT in P2 Log then there is a fix

if you converted your files to QT in P2 Log or P2 Log Pro, then there is an update to fix those files. It is 29.99 on their support website, I had the same problem with the atom bug, and it is fixed and all footage is fine now on 7.3 It is also fine to capture new stuff on 7.3 that fix is on there as well. just go to the imagine products website and look under support.
 
I have Intel macpro, with FCP 6, and quicktime 7.4 on Tiger. and all my p2 transferd movs play fine.

Is it safe to upgrade to Leopard yet? or will my hvx mov files be unplayable?
