Better right hand handle needed

OK here are photos of my first prototype Handle on my AF100.

Your prototype is looking good.

Questions. How much width does the handle add to the camera? I'm usually carrying the AF in a backpack, or rolling case, that are sized for International flights & am pretty taped out on wide the cam can be.

Does the handle come off & on quickly? If not would it be possible to attach it with a quick release system such as a couple of 16x9's CineLock(s) or ArcaSwiss-style QR. My shoots usually move fast & quick setup is important.

I was pleasantly surprised when I took the grip off that a hotshoe was under the grip. Never really used the grip but now I have a extra place to attach a second wireless.

Adding to ideas, what about a collapsible stalk for the handle, maybe even something like a very short Israeli arm?
