C100: Best wide/fast lens for the C100

My go-to lens for most of what I’ve been doing is my trusty EF 24-105mm f/4L, but I occasionally need something faster and wider in situations where I need the extra low-light or I maybe need to shoot wider in a cramped environment (like a car). What’s the best lens out there for the c100 that would kill both of these birds with one stone?I’d prefer to stay under 1000 bucks, if possible.Looking for the most bang for my limited buck.

Tokina 11-16mm if you want "ULTRA wide" at 2.8. And Sigma 18-35mm if you want ''wide enough'' but at 1.8. Canon 10-18mm if you want Ultra wide but slow.

What isf we're talking about primes? The Tokina 11-16 does look like the best bet for what I need, but that's a pretty neglible focal range. If I could gain a stop and save a few hundred bucks by going prime, what might a good fast/wide option be? (without going tooo extremely wide)

Primes were mainly developed for full frame stills in the 80s and 90s - so there are not many wide fast primes for S35 sensor (excluding of course $10k cine primes)

Only recently have primes been developed for the S35 coverage

Samyang 16 2.2
Voigtlander 17mm (not sure this covers/fits a canon)

There is the Sigma 20mm 1.8. It is an absolute mess of a lens. I had one and sold it, but then missed it so much that I bought another one.

There are so many votes for the Tokina 11-16. I'm surprised more people haven't taken a look at the 11-20. Once I got the 11-20, the Tokina went from being a purely specialty lens to a lens that I would use for most wide shots.

It's been in bags for years. The 11-20 I'm sure is a fine lens just newish.
