Hi ! We will be shooting a short in April and I was wondering which method of offloading you guys are using to transfer P2 Card footage to an external HD using a mac and Dual Adaptor. Are their any great advantages or disadvantages to either.
1) P2 Genie (have this but it still produces a text file that has to be kept with all offloads)
2) Panasonics P2MS (I havn't used this yet but am doing some tests)
3) Other ?
I was also wondering if it is still necessary to protect the P2 Card before offloading.
