Best Technique for B & W super grainy/old looking.

Anyone got any suggestions for settings on making the footage in post look like super grainy old B&W footage? I realize most of this is done in post, but any suggestions on settings with the camera itself? THanks

Master Ped low; don't underexpose too much (that's a pet peeve I have with a lot of B/W indie films), but a little less light mixed with upping your gain will give you some nice noise.

If you want to do it in post, magic bullet looks (which comes with misfire: a tool for adding such things to "degrade" the footage) does an awesome job. You can use magic bullet for the color correction and misfire for the "old film" look.

shoot it as you normally would, then use misfire if you got MB with your camera. or, shoot with -15 master ped and add grain and desaturate in post.
