GH4 Best taking lens for use with Anamorphic adapter?

Hello, folks!

I've decided to get into the anamorphic game with my GH4, and just purchased this 2x ISCO Micro anamorphic adapter:

I also got these diopters for closer focusing:

And this clamp to attach the ISCO to the taking lens:

Now I need to figure out what taking lens to use with my GH4. I currently own a Navitar 50mm f/0.95 lens, which I love. However, the front diameter is pretty large (62mm) so I don't know if that will work (I hear the smaller the diameter on the taking lens the better). If it does work, then I'm all set. I'll know when the gear arrives in a few days.

If it doesn't work, I'm happy to purchase a new lens specifically for use with this ISCO adapter, but I could use some suggestions. I'm specifically looking for fast primes, ideally f/1.2 or f/1.4. The Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 is pretty cheap, and good quality. Should I go for that? Or perhaps a Nikon 50mm f/1.4 lens? Any other fast primes I should consider? Or perhaps other focal lengths instead of 50mm?

I'm brand new to the anamorphic world, so any advice is greatly appreciated!

Jaime, I'm also beginning to become interested in anamorphic shooting. I think you'll find some additional useful info on the subject at Andrew Reeds site - eoshd. The setup you got looks interesting - keep us updated on your thoughts of this equipment and what lenses you settle on.
