hey just want to know what you guys think the best neutral settings as far as contrast, sat, sharpness, color, ect would be for post grading in color 1.5 thanks...

What has been recommended is having Highlight Tone Priority enabled, contrast and sharpness all the way down and two notches down on saturation. I also put my color tone one to the left.

how do I enabe Highlight tone priority... and when you say down you mean to the left correct... also what would be a good list of settings if I didn't have time for post color and wanted the best looking footage in raw format thanks guys

As I just learned from Barry Green here: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=187666 highlight tone priority should really only be used if you are having trouble with the highlights in the image and need them to roll off smoothly. Essentially highlight tone priority is exactly that ... it prioritizes the highlights over the shadows. The camera exposes at half the iso and then electronically boosts the dark tones. If you have the means to light your scene properly so that you don't have issues with overexposure, then you will be better off with highlight tone priority turned off.
