best sd 16x9 vimeo settings? Just wondering what you guys use. Also how do you use the new widescreen youtube, how do you get your videos to appear in the full frame, what are your h.264 settings for this?

Thanks
Will

you'll be letterboxed on vimeo. On youtube, change your video settings to high quality and you'll have a 16X9 screen. Usually it's cropped at 4:3 though.

for vimeo I shoot squeeze and export mpeg2 720p.

For widscreen youtube, I use the h.264 youtube setting but change the pixel aspect to 16x9. Also shooting squueze. If you shot letterbox just open it in a 16x9 timeline and zoom in 133 percent. And export accordingly.

If you upload a standart definition video to youtube, youtube resizes
it to 480x360 (or 480x270 for widescreen in this case).
But if you upload a 720p video, it will stay 720p and you can watch it
by adding &fmt=22 to the video url. Then you can watch the 720p file
in the new 640x360 youtube widescreen player.
So the better way to upload videos to youtube is to uprez them to 720p.

Im sorry i cant explain this better, my english is not very good.. :(
