Best patch for concert video?

Hi guys,
Have to do a live multicam rock concert, one of the cams is my GH13 at the back to get the wide shot, so full stage shot, lot of flashing lights, lots of black when there are no lights.
I'm using the Max Latitude patch and it has been rock solid so far ( thank you so much lpowell ).
but,
I cant really risk a failure doing a concert,
so,
Could you guys recommend a patch to use, I'm sure some of you have done these types of shows.
Is this type of shot stressful for the max latitude patch?
40mbps High reliability patch maybe?
Just trying to get a few opinions.

I haven't seen the Max Latitude Patch fail with indoor lighting of any type. The type of shot that is most stressful is an outdoor scene in broad daylight with sharply focused, highly detailed foliage. With stage lighting, I'd recommend exposing for the highlights on the lead vocalist's face.

I guess the one other thing I have to consider is the length of recording on the card, has anyone done any testing to check recording times, say, on a 16gb Class10 using-
a. max Latitude patch
compared to
b. 40mbps patch

of course it must vary with what you are recording, yeah?

I agree with lpowell--for some reason, indoor concerts don't seem to bust the codec. I have shot many hours indoors. I also agree to set the exposure on the faces, watch out for people who look like me, slightly damp, pale, somewhat receding hair, and shiny forehead.

lpowell--as far as concerts go, where you might have to record several hours of video, and of course incur disk spanning, is one patch more reliable than the other as far as disk spanning, or are there settings you would recommend for this? An lpowell concert patch?

The AVCHD 4GB MTS file spanning mechanism is rather fragile, and I've seen it fail even at the conservative bitrates used in the Reliable In-Camera Playback Patch 1080p FHD mode. Though you won't lose any recorded footage, you'll have to restart the camera and that will leave a gap. Surprisingly, I've found the most reliable extended-take patch to be the 720p SH mode that records at 25/30p in my Fast Action 3-Frame GOP Patch. While the V2 version of this patch is optimized for use on GF1 and G2 cameras, it will work just as well on the GH1. The patch does have one pitfall, however. If it is exposed to a near-black scene continuously for 8 seconds or more, its bitrate may drop to such a low level that it stops recording. This hazard is also present in the 5-frame GOP 25/30p SH mode in the Max Latitude Patch.

The most cautious approach, however, is to use the 720p "H" video mode instead of the "SH" mode. In all of the patches listed below in my signature, I've adjusted the bitrate of the H mode to the highest setting that reliably recorded extended file-spanning takes without failure.
