C200: Best MP4 settings for no post work??

I'm wondering what the most appropriate way to remove a magenta cast is? I changed "Black>Master Black Red" from 0 to -2. From the manual, "These settings correct the color cast in blacks".

After actually reading the manual, I'm sure there's a better way. I've never really been into tweaking knees, pedestals, gamma settings etc. but am wondering if anyone can explain the difference between some of the settings below. I've quoted directly from the manual to make things easier:

- White Balance>R Gain: "These settings adjust the amount of white balance throughout the whole image by changing the intensity of red tones ([R gain]) and blue tones ([B gain])".

- Color Matrix Tuning>Gain/Phase: "These settings adjust the color intensity ([Gain]) and color phase ([Phase]) of the color matrix, affecting the color tones of the whole image."

- Color Matrix Tuning>R-G: "Each matrix changes the tint of the picture along the color gradations detailed below, affecting the color tones of the whole image."

Should I be changing the White Balance R Gain, or change the color matrix, and if so, by adjusting gain/phase or R-G?

Thanks for your help users.

I've attached another interview example. The first is straight out of camera, the second is a WB correction and slight increase in saturation.

FWIW, the corrected one looks good. The uncorrected, I am surprised to see so much magenta from a Canon, that would be more typically seen in a Sony. I wish I could tell you how to tune the matrixes
but I typically leave things as is and color correct or let the client worry about that when their editor color corrects. I find in my world of mixed lighting and color temps, every time I have messed with those settings
to make a given setting look "right", the colors end up looking all whacked out in another set up with different lights and ambient color temperatures. I keep it stock, shoot a chip chart and mess with it in post.

The C200 is similar to the C300 II. Here's how I fixed the color on the C300 II: I set both the C300 II and 1DX II (already color tuned with a custom picture style (much easier than the C300 II!)) side by side and compared the monitored output while tuning every single parameter, including the color matrix, until I got the C300 II matched as close as possible to the tuned 1DX II. Then I tested in the real world in various conditions and iterated until I was confident it was a general solution. Later I made a few more variants which weren't as radical as tweaking the color matrix (including the one I tested on the C700 FF), however I've come back to the super-tuned version (with color matrix changes) as I can finally shoot most of the time and not mess with color in post for skin tones (with proper WB, lighting, exposure etc.). One of the less radical profiles was used for a recent prime-time level broadcast comedy skit (if that person wishes to share a link, that's cool, else they can remain anonymous).

Dan or anyone in LA who'd like to try these settings on their C200, you're welcome to drop by my studio in Beverly Hills and I can manually enter the settings (don't think the C300 II settings saved on disk will load into the C200). On the C300 II, I've fixed the red/magenta issues (still nudging Eric to do a C300 II vs. Amira test (he did a quick test with the profile I used on the C700 FF and I realized the more radical 1DX II matched setting would more likely match the Amira)).
