Best movie Poster I have seen

What can I say? Im really not impressed by these posters. Their cool, but thats about it. Im sure there's a good amount of members here that can make you a custom star wars poster for a heck of a lot less. And in the same ball park quality wise. I wouldn't pay more then five bucks for one of these if it were for hanging on my wall. Now if you buy for investment purposes, and can make some money, well then thats a different story.

Great posters! I'd definitely pay a few hundred bucks for 'em, but eh - the asking price is a tad bit high for me; even with Star Wars addiction :)

Ummm... hmmm... the pics on that site are not such low resolution that, even if I loved the posters, I wouldn't rather just print those out than spend that kinda cash!

I hate to point out the obvious... but I'm sure some will miss the details of the inner image that create the missing details of the characters... i.e. those aren't c3po's eyes... they're suns, etc.

Yeah, those are pretty bad ass.

I wonder if any of you guys like Samurai Jack? I love that cartoon for it's wash of minimalistic artistic images... it's in a different category for me beyond animation... very emotional for the simplified beauty. There are often even characters that make noises, instead of words, but you still understand what they're saying.

If you guys like this art, beyond Star Wars, you should check out Samurai Jack.

Alas ones persons angelina jolie in anothers rosie o'donnell. The beauty of perception.
This analogy is so not working for me !

Yes SJ Rocks.
These posters are great but isn'this copyright infringement ? Not to sure about his not that Im a cop or anything :) just nosey.

Samurai Jack was the shizzy. I own all the seasons. I don't think there's anything better to have on in the background while drawing.

But yeah, as for these posters -- Honestly I only think they're cool because they're Star Wars. If they were movie posters for just some random movie we'd probably be like, "Yeah, pretty nice. Stylish."

Agreed. The reason these work so well is because we've already seen the movies, know the stories, and, like Matt said, we can pick out the intricate details and appreciate how they were woven in.

These posters wouldn't make me want to go see the movies if I had no knowledge of them. Are they gorgeous & incredibly creative? Sure. But they're art, not a marketing tool, which is what a poster's designed to be.

Very well said. I agree they wouldn't be effective tools w/o already knowing the story. That made me want to look at the original... they did a great job on it. Jeez... it still blows me away that Star Wars came out in the 70's... what a game-changer.
