What's the best monitor for T2i? Can I still use my old Marshall V-R70P-HDA 7? - It doesn't have HDMI. What kind of set ups are you guys using?

I dont know if it's "the best" but I love my SmallHD DP1 monitor. Out of all monitors I've experienced, SmallHD's monitor was the easiest to pull accurate focus.

Do you get a full sized image preview when using the t2i? If you have any pics of it working with your camera, would you care to share them? I didn't see any hdmi connection on this?

Sadly, the T2i will be feeding your monitor an SD signal, so the extra money spent on an HD monitor like the DP1 could go to waste unless you're also using the monitor with other cams...

I have a 5D Mark II and it doesn't have full HD output while recording but having my Manhattan LCD monitor sure makes focusing a lot easier.

The screen is sharp and impressive to actors and others watching playback of a scene. I use a simple Manfrotto 482LCD to mount it.

I have a brand new, never used HD089B that I'm selling. Let me know if you're interested.

If you are looking for a good cheap monitor, you could look at getting a haier from target. (retails for around $130...on sale for around $90 at times)

They have the 7" and the 9". Both have the red/green/blue plugs on the side and it will provide a display for live shooting. They are also tvs that pick up HD channels, so the picture quality is better than your average portable monitor.

Maximum Resolution: 1366 x 768
Vertical Resolution: 720p

Maybe not as crystal clear as something 4 times the price, but still a decent value if you are looking for a cheap monitor. Comes with a wall plug, car plug, and rechargable battery...
