GH4 Best micro four thirds zoom lenses for shooting video?

I landed up liking the PL 12-60 a lot! You have the added benifit if you're shooting on the GH5 of shooting 4K in ETC mode(I forget the exact crop) but I think it's one of the most underrated features on the GH5 as it essentially turns any one lens be it prime or zoom you use into 2 lenses....for those who collect lenses instead of cameras a great feature! The additional crop in ETC is 1.4
 
They are vastly superior not because of how „good“ they are but because of how awefull the Panasonic’s are.

* I just recently finished testing the Oly against the Sigma 13-35. The Oly focus ring felt like cheap plastic compared to the Sigma. The copy I rented even had rough spots. I'd still pick the Oly for a variety of other reasons.

'Vastly superior' - OK maybe overstating it a bit compared to the 12-35 and 35-100 but I stand by it when compared to the 12-60. I've just rationalised my m43 zooms to 12-40 and 40-150. Out go my 12-35, 12-60 and 35-100.

You are very true there the GH5 with 1.4 X in ETC is a great help,plus with a good lens on in 2x digital mode the picture quality is still very good.
 
While not a true MFT lens, their is one often overlooked lens set thatmhas excellent IQ, very cinematic and has a f/2.0 wide open, is parfocal on a MFT Camera, and has an actual manual focus in addition to good auto focus, that lens is the Oly FT 14-35 f/2.0 SWD zoom, and it’s stable mate, the 35-100 f/2.0 Zoom. I have the 14-35mm zoom, excellent lens used with the Oly FT/MFT adapter, or on a GH5, I would use the Panna FT/MFT adapter, either adapter works well, giving iris and auto focus control, in addition to a repeatable MF, you can use with a Follow Focus of you want. As much as I love certain aspects Oly lenses, as a wedding shooter I need lenses I can hand hold with my pair of GH5s/GH5, something ends up making the PanaLeica's more compelling as a group that I end up choosing them in all cases, whether it's the particular combination of zoom range, dual IS2, OIS, size and weight, lower price, and yes...you can talk to the hand but the image quality is comparable. Even the need for a better manual focus ring has been reduced substantially by the improved auto-focus of the latest GH5/GH5s firmware updates.
