BEST METHOD for MOUNTING MARSHALL

when doing handheld I prefer to use the zamerican arm.If i'm doing tripod I just use my little ball mount.

Both are very solid.

DROOL........

I'll be the first to admit that the Zacuto stuff is expensive.

But the big ZAmerican Arm is ROCK SOLID with a Marshall AND a huge Sony V-mount battery on it.

Try THAT with a Noga!

This looks like a cool item. I saw this online and wondered how it performed. Thanks Matty!

This looks like a pretty cool resource site... Thanks for posting that.

These folks make lots of different mounting components for various applications - http://www.ram-mount.com/

I'll be honest, what I am looking to do is mount my monitor on an arm that I can then position upside-down, for use with a 35mm adapter (since I don't have a Flip model like mcgee's!)

I was going to go with a Noga arm and a hot shoe mount as I want to go handheld if I want to. But I read a comment somewhere that hanging a monitor off of the hot shoe mount is a bad idea. (I don't have an HVX with the nifty little screw hole built in! Damn... what a great idea!)

So, I am looking for an item that I can use on my DVX that will allow me to position a 7" monitor (not a Marshall and is much lighter) upside-down.

So, since I have resurrected this thread and it is drawing attention, maybe I'll find a solution here!

...

I must say, that Zacuto gear looks sexy as hell!
