GH2 Best low light lens under $1,00 is Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f/1.1?

I heard the best low light lens under $1,000 is the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f/1.1. Can anyone verify this and would it be a good lens for filming video with a GH2?

voigtlander 25mm .95 is a better focal length general lens on gh2 (& slightly faster in low light)

Thanks for the recommendation.
