Hey i need to shoot a POV video. I had a look around the net and read 35mm-50mm is closest to what the eye sees so was thinking about getting a 35mm lens, something like the Samyang 35mm F1.4. Is this a good choice? Anything else people would recommend under £400? Would i be right that i would need to get an adaptor? Is there anything else i will probably need to know shooting this style of video?

35 would be way too long on micro 4/3. When they recommended 35-50, they probably meant that you should use a standard lens on a full frame camera. Medium-wide to standard on the GH2 is more like 20-25mm. They're a nice 20mm pancake lens Panasonic makes for well under what you're looking to pay. There's also the Panasonic Leica 25mm or the Voigtlander 25mm which people rave about on this board.

On Vimeo, I've also seen a nice POV video which uses the 12mm SLR Magic, it's used in this video. Along with: Voigtländer 17.5mm & GoPro.

After seeing this I built my own POV rig which I've not used yet. It did pain me to drill through a brand new crash helmet, but idiots on eBay were bidding up used helmets to almost as much.
