Best Custom or Slim bags for GH1

I am looking for a smallest fitting case that houses the camera and kit lens with maybe little room for extra battery/memory card. I have spend hours searching but yet to find one that is both slim and quality.

Please provide me with some suggestions

for those who are experienced, how is Tamrac bags as a brand?
I just bought the pro digital zoom 2 for the GH1, i hope that fit snug and not too bulky.

The only problem I had was the reversed hood would catch on the velcro sewn into the interior when I tried to remove the camera. My wife trimmed the excess off and now it works great.

Overall I've been quite happy with the brand.

I just use a large leather fanny pack that I bought in Mexico for $15. I recently used it for three weeks on a trip through Greece, Turkey, and Egypt. It has extra pockets for memory cards and batteries and accessory cords. The fanny pack doesn't announce that I have a camera.

It was a tight fit. If you are considering it, you should see how well your GH1 fits before you buy.

I test fit the Lowepro Mini Topload Zoom bag recently and it fits great with the stock lens! I just ordered one for $16 new on ebay.

I travel with the GH1 in a victorinox 35531 (http://www.swissarmy.com/TravelGear/Pages/Product.aspx?category=lifestyleaccessories&product=35531&). It's not a made explicitly as a camera bag, but it's sturdy, and best of all, it is convertble between around the waist (fanny pack) and cross-shoulder. Plenty of room for the GH1 and supplies. The kit lens plus a 7-14 both fit too, but it's a tight squeeze.

Tamrac Express 5 holds my Pentax K20d (a bigger APS-C dSLR) snugly. KEH.com has them for like $12.95. Good build quality with some thoughtful design touches.

I use a standard photography backpack. It can hold both of my GH1s and a bunch of lenses.

Some folks consider the Tamrac 3325 Aero Zoom 25 the lowest-profile bag for the GH1 with kit lens. It has a little space at the bottom of the holster (for my filters) and 2 small pockets on the sides (for battery & cards). I especially like that there isn't an outside-front pocket, keeping it shallow & close to the body. The only downside is a zipper-only closing, so I added my own quick-release buckle.
