Best Codec?

I was wondering what codec people like to use the most, or what works the best with the HMC150 footage. When I import it into FCP it automatically transcodes to AppleProRes, but obviously I can change the footage and timeline to something else. Or would it be best to just keep the timeline at AppleProRes?

For you, it makes sense to just use AppleProRes, rather than spending another $130 to get Cineform.. the quality difference is minimal..

Pro res is a wonderful codec. NeoScene for the Mac does provide an additional very codec, but it cannot access the RT engine in FCP for grading, etc.

Pro res can.
