Best Case/Backpack for snow

Alright, so I need a good case/backpack for my Canon Xh-A1, plus extras for cold conditions. I would be walking through snow, alot, so maybe a backpack would be more comfortable.

CATCH: Must meet requirements for a carry on when flying to South America, which I read is up to 40 pounds, but have HEARD as low as 25 pounds. I've never gone, so I wouldn't know.

I've had mine all over the world. It won't last forever, that's for sure. The zipper on mine is finally starting to become "troublesome" here and there. It's been money well spent and I WILL be buying a new one soon.

I can get my A1 in there, my Nikon D2x, 17-55 lens, two mics, filters, spare batteries, cleaning supplies, a sb800 strobe, tripod plates, and a few other things I'm forgetting.
