Best book on film directing?

Hive mind: what's the best "instructional" book on the market for the art of film directing? I've got my faves on many of the other disciplines, and I like to go back and re-read them for time to time. "On Film Editing" by Dmytryk is still my fave text on that particular subject matter, even though it's half a century old. "Making a Good Script Great" by Seger is my fave screenwriting reference. But I don't really have one for directing. Opinions? Thanks!

I liked Directing Actors, by Judith Weston. It does not cover all aspects of directing, like camerawork, just acting. But that has been the most mysterious responsibility for me, and this is the only book that clicked.

Jeff Young's book on interviews with kazan - Mike Leigh on Mike Leigh and Cassavetes on Cassavetes - I always thought were the 3 best books on directing.
