best 12x12 frame?

Ok will search around. And what you recommend for some skin?

Unless you need breakdown frames I suggest 48x48" flat (aka Knife) frames. They should be readily available in Toronto.

MSE has photos on their site, but Norms are much less expensive, & just as good.

Just skin them with your favorite diffusion using Snot Tape. Typical flavors are Hampshire, Opal, 1/2 White, & Full White. There's a great source for discount expendables here in LA, but you might find short ends at the local grip houses in Toronto.

I prefer the rag place for my soft goods. Pretty excellent customer service and they'll make anything for you custom. They also specialize in just rags, which inspires a bit more confidence I think.

Rag place has about everything you could imagine - I think they invented ultrabounce... AND they'll make you a 12' eggcrate of you need one. No prices on their site though, how do they stack up? I've bought 12x12's from Canvas and they're as good as these things get, very well made. Not a huge inventory, but they cover the basics. If you buy from them, I'd email and ask about stock, some of their stuff they make per order I think, it can take a couple weeks door-to-door. Good pricing if you're not in a time crunch. 12x12 1/4 silk or poly is $140, chinas are $220, decent prices as far as I've found.

They did invent the ultra bounce! What more could you ask for!

Everything I've got from them has been really reasonable, although its mostly been repairs and modifications.
