F3: Berger Canon EF to Sony F3 Lens Adaptor.... Who has one ... Is it out yet ?

...We have something absolutely spectacular coming down the pipe line.
I don't want to get ahead of myself here and will let you know as soon as the Mark2 version is ready to ship.
Looks like this coming week will be changing things for the better for the F3/5/55 owners...

"...We are little strange that way- no big announcements or marketing campaigns. Just delivering the newest , best asap to customers. This is how we roll:thumbsup:"

Not strange...maybe just a little-- conflicted!

Haha it did cross my mind... Sometimes even I can't resist the temptation, devil had his hand in it- I tell you...:lipsrseal

It is powered by the camera currently.
We are going for losing the power cable and power up from the FZ mount.
Lens data display in the VF/monitor embedded in video files as meta data.
There are also some significant mechanical improvements....
At least this is the plan- will find out for sure very soon this week.
I've probably said too much already- gonna get scolded for "hype marketing"
I'm really trying to be as pragmatic as possible here and limit my posts to strictly information...:engel017:

If you achieve that I'll get one for sure!

The big thing missing from these adapters is support for image stabilization. I'd sure like to see it for Nikon, but would even consider switching to Canon for it.

Yes we are shipping now.
Lens data display in the VF, powered from the FZ mount. Also the mount powers our OptiTron hand controller or the wireless receiver so no external power is required in ANY configuration.
Positive locking for stock, unmodified EF lenses is a given in the "ProLock" series.
Some ergonomic improvements- buttons for local iris control on operator side, Aperture position display in the VF so no more guessing, panel mounted connector replaces the short cable and is protected by a designated cap tethered to the mount so it won't get lost.
I think these are the most significant changes.
Oh and price is the same as the previous version - that's our gift to you guys and girls.. ;)
AFAIK all the Sony F5 bundles are shipping with the Mark2 version of our adapter...

Wow, that sounds great and surely will make lots of folks happy. Heck I might even be included to start using some of my EOS glass.

Any chance you sell B4 2/3" pure mechanical adapter to FZ mount with or without 1.5x magnifier?

Using 2/3" ENG lens with built-in 2x doubler a pure mechanical adapter without extra magnifier should cover a 4/3rd frame size, and on the F55 in 4k mode it means you can crop out a 2k or HD image no problem. Actually the next firmware update is suppose to include a 2k windowed mode so no crop in post would be necessary.

Either way, I am looking for alternative to Sony B4 $5000-$10000 adapters, and other expensive models.
