Your second attempt at video's? Well all I can say is make more because this video was beautiful. I think you got a very professional look and it turned out great. I found a few places where the lip syncing was a little off but other then that, I give you props for your second attempt. Good work!

Thanks for the comment Spensers. I think the fact that am also a photographer kind of come in handy also.

As for the lip not syncing properly in some footage, its down to vimeo not compressing the video well.

im thinking of getting some primes, i just bought my 5D and i got the standard 24-105mm zoom lens. How did you like working with the primes? very nice video btw

howdyarig the carshot

whats the cyan light source

one thing - I think sliders can be over used - nice from him to his reflection and the initial push in but not over slide (IMO)

very nice - us photographers will win in this game :)

I mainly used the canon 24-70mm 2.8 90% of the time, and the 100mm 2.8 macro lens for a few close up. The canon 50mm 1.4 prime was only used for the opening scenes.

As long as you have enough light, the 24-105mm is brilliant, but some times the shallow dof that a 2.8 gives you helps add to that film look too.

Great job

Great job

Hard to believe you've only done 2. Great shots, great look and feel to the video,
very nice.

Car was the easiest of all the shots.... clamped the camera onto a suction and mounted it onto the car and had the dude drive.

Cyan light was from a gelled video light attached to the middle of the steering weel pointing straight at him with other small lights above and below to give other colors.

And yes..us photographers are gonna win this game:grin:
