The other older thread got too old and it was kind of impossible to relocate it with the search engine, so I just had to start a new one. (yeah, it's me, the kid  )

As some of you may remember, I'm working on a movie called "Below Dry water", about some kids who experience weird things inside an old, rotten school. And yes, the movie is soon to be released when I get the music done, composers over here really lack enthusiasm! :(

Now what the thread is really all about, I re-color corrected some shots to make the athmosphere more "disgusting". Now did it work? Do yyou like the old or the new ones?

The new shots looks good and is getting the feeling across. the last to shots look a little grainy though . good job.

The shots are nice!! (Thought I am an amatuer)

I still have the trailer on my computer, looks very interesting...........

Same here, liked the original on the last two shots, but the first one did improve. A bit more detail. The fixed second shot is really grainy though IMO.

I absolutely love the new 1st shot. and I think the old version of the 3rd shot works best, but maybe just sort of get an image somewhere between the two. ya know? I don't know. :)

looks interesting.

for my own frame of reference, would you mind explaining the title of your film and how you got it?

I came up with the really strange title because the story takes place below and emptied pool, which every single one of them has good and bad memories from. I know it's strange, but it's better than my other titles :engel017:

I deifnitely agree with the consensus so far.

The first CC is perfect. The second is worse. I think the latest version of the third one is the best.

I also like the title.

Click below there is a great plug in that drops noise down significatly. Just dont make it too strong, or there will be weird ghosting artifacts.

Its called Dynamic Noise reducer.

Note: it only works wen the clip is playing or rendering. it wont work when the clip is stopped. but drop it on, play the clip, and select it on and off in the Video FX box too see its effect. It will help. also it doesnt sacrifice much resolution. infact you hardly lose any.

its a miracle plugin.

i kinda liked the origionals..... except for the one with the kid and the gun, that looks awesoem in Matrix flourescant green.

Sure, I have the dynamic noise reducer hele already :)

The thing is that I want to keep the noise, because I love noise. The noise adds to the athmosphere in this movie I think. I've been redoing it over and over again, and now I'm pretty happy with the results (kind of a mix between old and new).
