Beer Commercial with GH1

Of the 18 finalists we didn't even make the top three. I learned a lot about this competition - mainly that they seem to like big setups with a single punchline. Going in, however, I never thought ours was the funniest as its not a big LOL style... it's more of a 'cool' style, IMO.

I'm not hatin' but even disregarding my own video I thought there were a few that were much better than the winner. Here is the winner, what do you guys think? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4i-vxIeNVY&feature=related

Not sure what the judges were looking for and given I'm no marketing genius, but IMHO, your video was a hell of a lot better than the winner.

Vince Vaughn acting school will get you a long way. I suppose the brewer is only using this stuff online? Most networks don't allow the consumption of the alcoholic beverage in a television spot.

hmmm- the winner's was ok- the idea was there, but the inconsistent daylight, (sucker holes or different shooting days), was a big distraction for me.

I definitely felt that your was consistent, polished, kick a$$, cool, funny- all those things--
but most of all aesthetically(both from a visual+audio standpoint) yours felt 'finished'- the winner's looked like a rough-cut.

oh well- it's a good film for the reel

Love the look, love the pace, love the video...but I got to the end of it and I was not sold on the product at all.

Awesome commercial... Checked out the vid that won and I don't get it.
Kudos on scoring it perfectly too.
