BBC accepts the XF300

Got this info from another forum.
It looks like the BBC has accepted the XF300/305 not just for independent productions (which they did back in July or so) but now it's on the list of cameras fully approved by the BBC for all productions:

That's quite a list of expensive cameras to belong to. Here's that list (not updated with the new info):

Thats great news! It was right around the release date that they made the first anouncement.

Over at dvdoctor.net (http://forums.dvdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=51788&page=6)there is a fellow who is asking his BBC friend about the XF100's chances. At the same time Alan Roberts of dvdoctor.net, who used to do the BBC tests and tested the XF300, has submitted a report on an XF100 prototype to Canon but is waiting for a production model to release anything. Some people feel that the Alan Roberts reports on both the XF100 and XF300 will show them the best setting since he tests for the recommended BBC settings.

Thanks for this! It makes my decision of what to buy for the outside possibility that a future production might be "broadcast capable" easier.
