battery stuck in xha1s

I have one of the large third party batteries in my xha1, stuck, can not get it out, and i do not want to force anything. I googled and apparently there are reports of this happening with 3rd party large batteries (not with canon batteries though). Any suggestions on how to get the fricken battery out? It comes out about 1/4 inch and then no further. Very frustrating.

Push it back in. You might have to gently wiggle it out. After that, sand the sides with some fine sandpaper or 3M Scotch Brite to make it a looser fit.

Trust me I tried that, and everything else first. Nothing, it was stuck. Upside down, wiggled it til the cows came in, nothing worked.

.TAKE STICKY GAFFER-STYLE TAPE AND ATTACH IT TO THE REAR AND PULL

.SUCTION CUP....wet first....the type used for window ornaments

.Lastly....you could have a busted spring assembly....good luck with that.
