battery question

unfortunatley, facetospencer, I don't believe you read this thread from the beginning
That blasted Facetospencer must have skipped all the way up to PAGE TWO of this massive thread! :cheesy:

I just ready the whole thing and think i might read it again - or perhaps ask a question about where i can find this thread - now that will be fun

Hmmm. The nastiness in this thread started with Pookie's answer. You can answer questions like that without being condescending and patronizing. Or, if you're tired of answering questions that have been asked, you don't have to answer at all. It seems to me that Matt asked a simple question, and indicated he had done some searching. I think we've all done searches that didn't return the results we wanted, because we didn't use good search terms. But he did try; even if he didn't, you could put your response much more politely, Pookie. Hey, you could even apologize for being rude. Is there a reason we can't treat each poster with respect? And just for the record -- I don't have many posts here either, although I do a lot of reading on these boards. Does that make my opinion somehow less valid?

Thats just the way he is. Add him to your ignore list. Problem solved.

ALL you kids start getting along or I am gonna go tell Dad. Let it rest. Go find something else to do.

Interesting reply Pookie, but it doesn't quite answer my question. Is there a particular reason you feel the need to belittle people?

The red switch on batteries is a reminder that a battery is charged. The question's answered. There's no other reason for this thread to exist.

How about settling this over PMs?

In order to find out what the switch is for, you must first connect electrodes to you testicales. naturally, it's recommended you shave them first and then caress them with rubbing alcohol.

if you complete the above successfully, then a frontal labotomy strongly recommended. Once you have that, the purpose of the switch will no longer matter.

Now THAT was funny!

Edit: I have tears in my eyes...

Icarus had me remebering my college days. (Sigh...)

I think you young-uns should learn to roll with some harmless fun; god forbid you ask what the click in the camera is.

It's easy to spot the ones who will not last or fit in here; the ones that react angrily and sensitive to Pookies remarks or those that roll with them, laugh at them or simply acknowledge the point he is usually trying to make "Help us Help yourself'

When did America become so full of Nancies?

But you guys are being mean and belittling people.

Thats not nice, being mean and belittling people.

That just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.......
