Battery help FAST

Hey guys,

I'll get right to it.
I have a shoot at the beach on sunday and need a battery delivered by then so that I'll be prepared to shoot all day with no AC power.

ANyways, in your opinions, what is the longest lasting, best battery for the HVX200/HPX170 at the moment?

I am looking at the 5600 Battery from DVXUSER right now, for $79.

Is there a better battery I should look into?

If you want it to last all day yes. I like to have three for a full day with the 200, but it takes a long day to get into the third battery.

And while I'm sure they're fantastic batteries, just be aware that in the past there have been some shipping time issues with the DVXuser batteries. Might want to drop a note to Jarred or Deb and verify you can get them by when you need them. If not, I'd look at the spec-comm batteries. I've got a couple of those with the OE one and they work great.

I have three DVXUser batteries and I've just ordered two more. If you order two you get a slightly better per unit price. They last quite a good long time.

I also ordered the Dolgin 4 battery charger (the TC40 - not the TC400). The single charger that comes with the HVX just ain't enough.

They have some good ones from BHphoto that are fairly cheap, but you'll have to pay a pretty penny for overnight shipping either way. expect 30+dollars, but it's worth it for peace of mind. You CAN'T risk NOT having batteries for your shoot.

I've got a few of all of the aforementioned batteries, but so far the best is the Anton-Bauer elipz 10k. All day on one battery (but you should always have 2 just in case); I took them on shoot we did at Everest base camp, where there was no reliable way to re-charge - and they worked beautifully.
