Battery for HVX200

Can anyone recommend (other than the OEM) a good replacement battery for the HVX200? I have two Panasonic CGR-D16s and they don't provide enough power to be very useful. The larger CGA-D54 is great, but expensive.

Thanks! Craig

Anybody know what the difference is between the Panasonic CGA-D54 battery and the Panasonic CGA-D54SE/1B battery?

www.switronix.com has a series 7 battery system that I use on my HVX-200 and it runs the camera for over 5 hours. There is a small adapter, but it's really invisible once you start to use it. They are also very nice people to work with.

Over 5 hours sounds a bit on optimistic side...their specification calls for 50wh HVX200 uses 12-14W per Panasonic. So run time would be more like 4 hours (continuous use). It is still better than the OEM Panasonic, which is about 42Wh. Also it is a bit heavier at .7lb vs Panasonic .5lb.

Besides the DVXuser batteries, I would get the Specc.com ones. I almost got one, maybe i will for the next one I get, if needed.
What was the problem with the DVXuser battery btw?
