C100: Battery died on me

Never had that happen before.....it won't charge.....starts off blinking once....then twice and three times but nothing going into it.

It didn't have any knocks.....dampness....just quit on me....very strange and of course at 150 a pop it isn't like losing am AA battery....
 
In the States, Canon Warranty on those is 1 Year (EU might be different. Not sure). I don't know how long you've had it but if it's within that time-frame and it's legitimately defective Canon should replace it if you have your original Proof of Purchase.
If it's outside of one year they can still fix it but they will charge you. Probably just worth it to buy a new batt if it's outside of a year.
 
Thanks Trotter.....yes it is close to two years and not had a lot of use to be honest....I am sort of just at the age where you hate to throw things out when you pay good money for them but I suppose one dud after all these years is a good innings....
