C200: Battery communication error

Has anyone had these warnings pop up on their cameras? I was in the middle of a shoot today with my C200 and I got this battery error message for every single one of my batteries (all Canon batteries from Texas Media Systems and B&H). I took the battery out and put it back in and nothing worked and then finally it went away and never came back. The first time it happened it shut my camera down.

Wow that sucks. That seems strange because I thought Canon is the only brand of the BP-A series (other than SWIT)? Maybe someone has rebadged them along the way, or could they have been dropped and not recognized as a normal battery?

Their still cameras do something similar. I have a dummy batt for my 5D so you can power it with a brick and the workaround is to select NO. It should give you another warning, but keep functioning as normal. At least with their still cameras... I've never used a third party battery in a C cam. But it's just another reason that shows that Canon still doesn't get real production and are still stuck in the consumer, closed, controlled eco-system mindset of their stills side.

WHoa, that's very weird. Never seen it and not sure how it could happen as supposedly nobody has been able to crack the Canon EOS Cinema Series battery pin code and internal processing code. I'd contact Canon immediately.
