Exactly - what I was thinking ???
It looks a bit too raw & naked compared to the previous batmobiles.
They even got some photos on the the official site - looks just same unforunately
as it does in the passer by footage.
It needs some cgi - surely ?

wow, no offense guys by i find it pretty pathetic we live in an age where people want to add CGI even to a car. yikes! come on!
personally i prefer this batman - taking a refreshing look at the bat and concentrating more on characters and story than flashy bright colors and silly villians and cgi.
youre on a DVX forum and youre talking CGIing a car. dont you think they have the money to make the car EXACTLY as they want it? theres not gonna be any CGI on this car.

Hi Lyons,
You have a valid point .. . maybe
But the bar has been rasied - cgi looks almost un-identifiable these days.
I thought " day after tomorrow " looked fantastic - its only natural us movie fans expect a superhero flick would be flashey & cgi'ed to death.
Its Batman for godsakes :
But - I hear your point & judging by the amazing cast - maybe this will be about depth & story rather than cgi lucas type stuff after all

right on!
I am all for good CGI when its needed definitely. Van Helsing cheesy videogame CGI though I cant stand and Batman doesnt have super powers or ray guns, so really theres no need for CGI of any kind.
At any rate, we will see next June! They are on the right track director and cast wise...

The batmobile looks insane! Like a cross between a stealth fighter, a Lamborghini, and a tank. I used to have a remote-controlled car that looked kind of like that. Crazy stuff. But I guess they have to keep the batmobile on the "cutting-edge" in every successive Batman movie.
