Batman arrested!!

If this turns out to be true it could ruin what's left of his career.
I'll guess we'll have to wait and see what really happened.

Could be estranged family members trying to make a buck for all I know.
Could be true.

Crazy either way.

Mike

Strange thing is, as he did his press tour, that guy was not any fun at all. Everything was super serious, he wouldnt even joke, let alone crack a smile. I HONESTLY thought to myself that it looked like a guy about to crack. When I read this report this morning, it didnt surprise me at all.

THAT SAID, we dont know the facts so it might all be untrue. But it wont surprise me if it is.

And regarding careers being ruined, lets not forget who the SUPREME star of this summer is, even if Bale did beat him at the box office. If Robert Downey Jr's career is this strong, then it is IMPOSSIBLE to destroy a career in Hollywood.

However it seems Tom Cruise is well on his way.

Naah.... RD Jr's too cool for school! :Drogar-Smoke(DBG):
He also had a drug addiction problem to help blame for his indiscretions.

If Bale did this sort of thing on the straight and narrow... he's in trouble.

Of course, it's all speculation at this point.

That SHOULD make it worse.

Bad Things=Wrong

Bad Things+Drug Use=Right?

Errr?

Give Bale some heroin QUICK! Then it will all be okay.

I never said that.
Some people feel pity for people who get addicted to drugs and then begin to do things that they probably would never do straight.
Just a personal observation.

Let's not get off topic.

What do you mean, what's left of his career? The guy is at the absolute pinnacle right now...Anyway, we don't know the whole story, yet. Who knows? Maybe his mom and sister deserved to get smacked around.
I didn't mean it in a bad way. Maybe I should have said his remaining career?

Is MSNBC and the washington post the same company? Because the article almost reads the same.

They all mostly just pull their stories from AP and similar services. They dont all have reporters on the ground investigating.

Apparently this story is less serious than it seems. All this article says is there was a verbal altercation and then he pushed somebody. That's a long way from assault.

There is nothing that makes that story any more true than the original stories.

As far as we know, NOTHING happened.

Last article makes it sound like someone else is getting into something that is none of their business. If the mom is saying they didn't call the police

Exactly. Could end up being nothing.

You know what they say, no press is bad press...he'll be just fine (if not better off then before). The movie made like a trillion dollars it's first weekend.

Current publicist statement:

"Christian Bale attended a London police station today, on a voluntary basis, in order to assist with an allegation that had been made against him to the police by his mother and sister. Mr. Bale, who denies the allegation, co-operated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question and has left the station without any charge being made against him by the police. At this time, there will be no further comment by Mr. Bale."
