Here's a highlight mix I put together today from a few games I've filmed for my high school team this season. I shot it at 100 shutter speed, iris stayed at 3.4 the whole time, 6db of gain, and filmed on cine-d gamma.

I graded in Magic Bullet and edited in FCP and did the titles in motion. Check it out

PS: If you don't like the song choice (I realize some people hate rap) then please don't complain about it

Haha well.. We have some players who can "dunk" if its on like a fastbreak haha, but not really. Our team just shoots the lights out, we shoot a ton of threes, but run the floor really well too. Its cool being ranked #2 in state this year, I think thats the first time our school has ever been that high

It's not the issue of rap, but whether the song is copyrighted.

Big issue in video as a music bed.

Nah its not under any copyright. Its a free song off of a mixtape.. I know the dude who rapped it too and I know he'd be fine with it

[Allen Ellis]

Curious why you pushed the gain before opening the iris up? Did you want a narrow DOF?

Sounds good then.

I found it refreshing to see them NOT dunking! It's nice to see talented "shooting" rather than a dunkfest.

That's how Basketball was played when I grew up.
