Hey Guys,
I have a client bringing in some HVX footage on a hard drive tomorrow. While I know the DVX like the back of my hand, I'm not at all familiar with working with HD footage from the HVX. They're going to be sitting with me during the edit, so I want to make sure I have the Final Cut timeline and everything set up before they show up.
So basically, I have two questions:
1). Are there any settings or anything I need to know/do when setting up my Final Cut timeline to edit HDV footage (I'm assuming it's 720p).
2). Any special considerations when the end medium will be a SD DVD? Should I just use Compressor to make MPEG-2s as normal?
Thanks guys!
