Baseplate recommendations for FS100?

Hi, everyone – I'm looking for a baseplate that will be light and good for a simple rig with a follow focus and shoulder mount.

I've already tried the Zacuto Universal, but it felt a bit too heavy and cumbersome. I also tried the Zacuto mini and I didn't like how I could only connect it with one screw.

Has anyone tried to Genus Hot Plate?

I"m not sure about the weight - but I can tell you that the top plate for the FS100 is indispensable.

Got it, absolutely love it, Up/down adjustment only has 2 settings as opposed to the slide up and down of the berkey, but shouldn't matter unless you have some funky adjustment for a matte box or big glass. Cheap too!

Gotta agree about the top plate from Berkey though, just about a nesessity.

Good to hear! Is the standard setting at normal follow focus height? I have a Jag35 D3 FF.

Not sure how the Jag35 adjusts, I have 2 cavisions but the gear / rod height looks about the same on both sooo, should work.

i have a mix of berkey top plate, berkey base plate, genus superior follow focus , genus video shoulder pad , Berkey counter weight and bla bla bla
i am really happy with those item.
i did had a base plate similar to hot plate (shape base plate)
but berkey allow you to easily put your shoulder pad close to the (center of gravity)
