Yes, I spent all day filling out and shipping packages.  Everyone should get theirs in time for Christmas (can't vouch for delivery time on international orders, but they all went Global Priority Mail and Airmail, so they should be there quickly).  I upgraded several of the east-coast packages to be Express Mail to make sure they'd get there, so many of you should have them by noon tomorrow.

Thanks for all the orders, all the support, and all the nice things you've all said! :)

It's going out today. Yours will go out Global Priority Mail, which they say should mean 4-6 days. I've already sent several to South Korea.

Hi,

I wrote earlier this week and I hate to be a pain. I am visiting family in Virginia until Tuesday before returning home to New Orleans. I am wondering if I order the book now and give the Virginia address, will it arrive before I fly back to New Orleans Tuesday, or should I just get it sent to my New Orleans address? Thanks.

I could send it Express Mail which would guarantee that it would arrive in the Virginia address, if you order right away. Otherwise, if we use regular Priority Mail there's no guarantee because this is the busiest shipping time of the year and there's no way to know when it would actually get there.

So, yes I could get it to you in Virginia, but you'd have to order soon to make sure it gets there in time.

No, that was a guy working at the location we were at, and I just drafted him into the shot.

I'm in the slow-mo segment, the subject in the frame rate slowdown piece.

The printer was www.instantpublisher.com. I've been very happy with every aspect of their service, they're reasonably priced, they make it easy to preview and see exactly what you're going to get, and they're pretty quick as well. Plus they can handle small runs, as small as 25 or as large as 5,000. Good company!

My girlfriend finally gave me my copy for Xmas yesterday! Turns out my dad had to buy it for her - she couldn't work put Paypal (doh!) Brilliant stuff - read it in an hour! Gonna read it again! - Nice DVD, clear and to the point.

P.S. Did you shoot a lot of that in a furniture store...?

P.P.S. I'm so inspired, I might make a DVX100 book myself geared towards PAL users! - That's the best compliment I can give! ;)

It was indeed a furniture store. Actually the store carries a lot more than furniture (appliances, TV's, computers, stereos, etc) but most of the floor space is occupied by furniture. It was just such a brilliantly-designed place, with about a million pre-lit locations, that it was the perfect location.

Got mine for christmas, just when you think you know what your doing, Barry comes along and points out everything. Great book. It's been added to my collection of essential filmmaking books.

Just got mine too.  What a great book -- congrats!!!  I hope you plan to sell this on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.  They should also pack this with the camera.  It's clarified everything that I've been learning through this website.  Thank you.

I've sent at least a dozen to Canada. I don't know if the recipients had to pay duty on it, so hopefully some of our Canadian customers will weigh in here and let you know.

Scott, I'll try to remember -- did you also request a signature in a letter accompanying the order? If so then I'll definitely remember and do it for you.

Okay - I've even had my bank put a US address on my cards but PayPal won't accept any of my cards to do this transaction. I'm in Amsterdam now, willing to send you the cash via Western Union or any other method you suggest. BUT I'm travelling to Africa from London, UK on Jan 10 and would need the package either here in Amsterdam before Jan 5 or in London before Jan 9. What do you suggest, Barry ? I'm shooting an interview in London in early February with my DVX 100A but the DP is not familiar with the camera and I want to empower him as much as possible. So we'll need to work it out with your help.... Please respond ASAP. This is really very urgent...
